The Student-Led Volunteering Programme supports UCL students to develop community projects and deliver them in partnership with schools and charitable organisations. This newsletter highlights upcoming projects that are looking for partners, and gives schools and charities based in London the opportunity to get in touch to host a project for their beneficiaries.
The ideas for these projects are developed by UCL students themselves who have spent time planning their projects, applying for funding, and undergoing Project Leader Training. We also support our Project Leaders to develop their risk assessments to ensure that they are running safe projects in the community and any volunteers working with children or young people must complete our safeguarding training, which includes guidance on how to deliver safe online volunteering projects.
